Terms of Service
The plain-language rules for buying and using a Think Stick.
Effective date: July 16, 2026.
What you are buying
Think Stick is a USB drive preloaded with offline AI software. You own the physical drive and receive a personal license to use the bundled software and AI models on it. Open-source components remain under their own licenses (see Open source).
What Think Stick is not
Think Stick is a general-information assistant. It can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for medical care, emergency services, poison control, professional safety training, legal advice, financial advice, or official public-health guidance. Never rely on it to identify wild plants, mushrooms, or anything else you plan to eat. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Think Stick and its creators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product — including reliance on AI-generated answers — whether the claim is based on contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised that such damages are possible. Total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price you paid.
This limit does not apply to any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own gross negligence, recklessness, or willful misconduct, or for fraud. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded where you live.
Acceptable use
Do not use Think Stick for unlawful purposes. You may resell your physical stick; wipe personal data first.
Warranty
Every stick is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee — if it arrives damaged or fails under normal use in that window, we refund or replace it. That guarantee is our only express warranty; no employee, listing, or advertisement creates any other. Beyond the 30-day period, Think Stick does not include a voluntary hardware warranty. The software and AI models are provided as-is; the built-in Repair tools restore a damaged installation.
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 30-DAY GUARANTEE PERIOD DESCRIBED ABOVE. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded where you live.
AI answers are generated by a statistical model and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. We do not warrant that any answer is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, and we do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
