Stuck? Start here.
Five fixes solve nearly every Think Stick problem. Work down the list.
1. It will not start
Unplug the stick, plug it into a different USB port (directly on the computer, not a hub), open the drive, and double-click Start Think Stick. First launch can take a few minutes.
2. Replies are slow
Open Settings → Performance and pick a smaller AI model. Closing heavy programs helps too.
3. Voice cannot hear me
Click Allow when the browser asks for the microphone. On a phone, connect through Mobile Access. Your phone's browser will show a one-time security warning — that's expected: the stick secures the connection with its own local certificate instead of one from an internet authority, because everything stays on your home network and never touches the internet. Only continue past that warning for your own Think Stick on a network you trust (your home Wi-Fi — not public Wi-Fi).
4. A document will not import
Check Documents: failed files stay listed with the reason. Scanned PDFs and photos take longer while the stick reads them page by page — you can keep chatting the whole time.
5. Something feels broken
Open Settings → Stick health and press Make my stick perfect. It verifies every critical file and repairs what it can, offline.
Still stuck?
Settings → Support report creates a small diagnostic file (no conversations included). Email it to thinkstickai@gmail.com and a human will reply.
